Shiraz is a dynamic entrepreneur, praised highly for his role in the world of hotels and awarded “Hotelier of the Year” at the Asian Business Awards 2016. In the 1990’s he was one of the first hoteliers to start developing limited service branded hotels in London and has been involved in over 25 such projects. As current chairman of Splendid Hospitality Group, Shiraz directs the growth strategy of the business and has a clear vision of the Group’s foray into several different enterprises. Splendid now has 20 trading hotels including the 292 bedroom Hilton London Bankside, The Grand Hotel and Spa, York and the 336 bedroom Holiday Inn, Wembley.
Shiraz has a strong commitment to his community and plays a vital role in many charitable organisations and voluntary services. He has held a number of senior positions within the Ismaili Community including being a member of the National Council, the Chairman of the National Conciliation and Arbitration board and Resource Development Convener for the Aga Khan University.
An ‘Old Boy’ of Merchant Taylors’ and a graduate of the London School of Economics. Nadeem qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the stables of PricewaterhouseCoopers gaining exposure to both listed companies and owner-managed businesses in a broad spectrum of industries. Working in Assurance and Business Advisory services at PwC enabled Nadeem to gain specialist skills in auditing, financial reporting and internal controls.
As Vice Chairman of Splendid Hospitality Group, Nadeem is heavily involved with the strategic direction of the company including acquisitions, negotiating franchise agreements and securing bank debt.
In 2015, Nadeem founded Splendid Restaurants with the aim of establishing a strong food and beverage platform in the UK. Splendid has already taken over 18 KFC units in the UK, amongst establishing other brands with more deals in the pipeline.
Nadeem spends much of his time working in a voluntary capacity for the Ismaili Community in the UK. Nadeem served for 7 years on the community’s Grants and Review Board, where he was heavily involved in budget and strategy reviews and management audits. Nadeem is currently serving as Chairman of the Community’s Economic Planning Board, whose mandate is to improve the economic well-being of the Community by providing assistance, advice and support in the areas of business, employment and personal finance. Nadeem was also the Project Manager overseeing the redevelopment of Community Centres in Stanmore and Birmingham. He also serves as a Governor of St Helen’s School in Northwood Middlesex, one of the pre-eminent girls schools in the country.
A high energy, profit focused and goal-driven operational Chief Executive, Stuart approaches business challenges with an intrinsic flair for innovation, creative problem solving and measured risk-taking to drive consistent improvements. His transformational approach has been critical to the Group becoming one of the most successful franchisees in the IHG stable, winning over 14 awards in 3 years.
He has an exceptional aptitude for simultaneously juggling the many tasks needed in today’s hotel Industry. As a member of the executive team Stuart is involved in driving both acquisition and organic growth strategies. His strong work and team ethic makes him an exemplary tactician in all areas of the business.
A graduate of Warwick Business School and a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience, Deshan is a strategic CFO who enjoys finding pragmatic solutions to complex business issues.
Before joining Splendid in 2017, Deshan was Director at PwC where he worked with a spectrum of clients, from multinational listed companies to entrepreneurial private businesses. He has also served with PwC in South Asia, with responsibility for a portfolio of hospitality and leisure clients.
Armed with extensive M&A credentials, particularly in financial due diligence and capital market transactions, Deshan’s business expertise includes advising corporates on financial reporting, controls optimization and compliance.
Deshan is an integral member of the board at Splendid helping the team to navigate opportunities and challenges as the group continues to grow its portfolio.
Kevin was a Main Board Director of Christie Group plc as well as being the Managing Director and Deputy Chairman of Christie & Co specialising in Agency and Valuation remits in the UK and the International hotel markets. Kevin was also the CEO of the Christie Group's operation in the United States with over 200 franchised offices across the States.
With a pedigree in financing and property values Kevin is renowned for his knowledge of the Hotel and Hospitality industry

As Director of Operations Andrew leads his executive team with the aim to drive consistent top & bottom line results, whilst delivering class leading guest metrics.
Hospitality is second nature to the Welshman who was raised within his family business before stepping into the corporate hospitality world, Andrew has held several positions as General Manager with brands including Aloft, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Ramada, & Best Western before joining SHG in 2016.
Andrew has a real passion for driving commerciality, delivering results and developing people along the Splendid journey. This Operator gets a buzz from leading teams to think differently and achieve results with an element of responsible risk taking.
As Group Facilities & Risk Manager, Colin oversees Crisis Management, Security, Risk and all aspects of Facilities Management.
Colin served his engineering apprenticeship with British Steel in the North West before joining the Splendid Family in July 2000. He has led various new build/hotel openings as a General Manager; winning IHG Newcomer of the Year and numerous Quality Excellence Awards. More recently he has provided support as Group Controls & Compliance Manager.
A proficient and confident leader, Colin enables people to focus on driving success for themselves and for SHG. His flair for communication and commitment is infectious and key to his success.
Leading the People team, Gemma is responsible for developing & overseeing the People strategy and performance of the group including Talent, Learning & Development, People Risk & Compliance, Employee Relations, Culture and Engagement. Gemma’s infectious energy and care for recruiting and driving people to success for themselves at work is fundamental to the Group’s vision of becoming the best in the market.
Her commitment and passion for ‘people’ has been incremental in helping drive significant change across the Group including delivering a new Splendid ‘culture’ across the Group’s employees.
Colin possesses over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, starting in architecture and moving into the contracting side.
He has assumed the roles of Project Manager, Design Manager, Pre-Construction Manager and for the last 8 years has held the position of Technical Director within an international tier one main contractor.
His expertise in estimating, planning, design management and M&E services within bid management and project delivery is instrumental to Splendid’s continued development and growth.
Colin’s role will focus on delivering valued engineered solutions that meet the demands of the local community, franchise brand standards and ambitions of the controlled growth of the Group.
