SPLENDID HOSPITALITY GROUP OPENS THE £121M HILTON LONDON BANKSIDE

London, UK November 2015. The Splendid Hospitality Group opens the £121m Hilton London Bankside. Featuring a stunning industrial design this 292 guest-room hotel has been built by Synergy Hotels (part of the Splendid Hospitality Group) and they will manage the hotel under a franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide.

Splendid Hospitality has a portfolio of 17 hotels in the UK and recent openings include the Conrad London St James and the Hotel Indigo York. “We have very exacting development criteria; we want to work in the best locations and always with the best brands. 2016 will see us open three new developments in and around London which is still, of course, one of the world’s most successful destinations,” reported Stuart Bailey, CEO of Splendid Hospitality.

We work with the highest quality design partners and architects Dexter Moren Associates, working with Twenty2Degrees, have designed a hotel that superbly reflects the creative buzz of the area.”

Hilton London Bankside offers 292 modern guest rooms, including 25 bespoke suites which offer breath taking views of the City skyline. The hotel also includes one beautiful Penthouse Apartment which boasts its own private roof terrace, a 100m2 entertainment area and views across London. Other features include an Executive Lounge as well as leisure facilities with a fitness suite, a treatment room and indoor swimming pool. Executive Chef Paul Bates, formerly of The Beaumont and Intercontinental Park Lane, is at the helm of the food and beverage outlets featuring OXBO Bankside, a new neighbourhood eatery and The Distillery, a cool and casual bar.

The hotel has eight flexible meeting rooms and the Bankside Ballroom, a pillar-free event space with a sweeping staircase, glittering chandeliers and a six-metre high ceiling. The ballroom can host up to 700 guests and features state-of-the-art technology making it a spectacular venue for any grand celebration, fashion show, awards ceremony or corporate event.
